WAYPOINT South Florida December 2025

Inside our WAYPOINT experience in South Florida, December 2025, where warriors found community, reflection, and renewed purpose through golf.

South Florida made roomfor the next step.

The week began with some of the finest instruction in the game. Our warriors spent their days under the Florida sun alongside world-class PGA Professionals, sharpening their skills while rediscovering the joy of the game. They were also introduced to physical training and performance by Dr. Kerri Krieger, while Ben Bushong (US Navy Blue Angels) provided powerful insight into the transition from military service to civilian life – an area that deeply resonates with every warrior in attendance.

Golf provides something unique. It creates space. It allows for breath. It heals. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where warriors can come together with their battle buddies – on the course and off – and simply be themselves.

Wednesday’s Military Appreciation Night was a highlight of the week. Legendary PGA Professional Bob Ford joined Director of Golf Russ Holden for a fireside conversation that brought both laughter and perspective. Stories from storied venues like Oakmont and Seminole captivated the room, along with reflections from his role as the longtime first tee announcer at the U.S. Open.

Thursday delivered another unforgettable moment as the warriors were hosted at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. World Golf Hall of Fame member Dennis Walters and his incredible partner Gussie delivered a performance that inspired everyone in attendance. The golf that followed on this world-class course was nothing short of extraordinary. Later, Dennis shared his powerful story of resilience, determination, and purpose – leaving a lasting mark on all who listened.

Waypoint Journal

A place tobegin again.

Golf creates the space. The conversation, trust, and next step are the deeper work.

The Deeper Pattern

The places matter because of the people, the conversations, and what follows after.

WAYPOINT South Florida December 2025

South Florida offered the kind of setting where reflection and brotherhood could happen naturally.

At the core of the week were the workshops. These moments – raw, honest, and deeply personal – are what The Warrior’s Journey is all about. Creating a safe space where warriors can speak openly about their struggles is not just important, it is essential. MARSOC Marine Raider Gabriel Axtell shared a gripping story of life, loss, and survival, and how The Warrior’s Journey played a role in saving his life. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

As the week came to a close and hugs were exchanged on Friday morning, it wasn’t “goodbye.” It was simply “see you later.”

Golf. The places you go. The people you meet. The things you learn about yourself.

The Journey Continues

The experience ends. The connection continues.

And most importantly – the time you spend with your battle buddies.

Golf.

The places you go. The people you meet. The lessons you learn about yourself.
