WAYPOINT Augusta April 2025
Inside our WAYPOINT experience at Augusta in April 2025, where warriors found brotherhood, reflection, and the gateway forward through golf.Augusta became the backdrop for brotherhood, reflection, and renewal.
The members of the esteemed Sage Valley Golf Club also welcomed our program for a day our warriors will never forget prior to the big day at The Masters! While it rained cats and dogs during our stay at Sage Valley, it did not make a difference for our veterans. We had lunch in the famed clubhouse, got to play the par three course (in a downpour), and spent a day in “heaven” in the famous South Carolina course. This alone would have been a day that no one would forget, nor will they, but Augusta National awaited the next day.
We had kicked off our mission with a guest appearance from Ted Scott, caddy to World #1 ranked Scottie Scheffler. Ted blew us all away with his compelling versions of the Masters, life, and golf. He told one amazing story about Bubba Watson, whom he caddied for previously, where Bubba called Teddy after his second Masters title and asked “What’s the point?” It was a subject that resonated with everyone in attendance and the answers were resounding. There is a much bigger purpose here on this earth leading to beyond and that struck a chord with all.
Waypoint Journal
A place tobegin again.
Golf creates the space. The conversation, trust, and next step are the deeper work.
The Deeper Pattern
The gateway forward often begins with a shared table,a quiet walk, and a trusted voice.

A supporting view from the Augusta experience, chosen to broaden the visual rhythm beyond the group image.
The Journey Continues
The experience ends. The connection continues.
The Masters was over the top incredible. We are treated with such care and privilege it is beyond remarkable. All we can say was the veterans had a good day, with a smile from ear to ear. The workshops were beyond amazing and somewhat surreal…how great this game of golf is that allows us these experiences.
Golf.
The places you go. The people you meet. The lessons you learn about yourself.
