Coral Springs, FL (December 2021) – The Warrior’s Journey Golf launched its inaugural event, and by every measure, it was a resounding success.

Hosted at Parkland Golf and Country Club, the week also included unforgettable days at Coral Ridge Country Club and Trump International Golf Club. Special thanks to PGA Professionals Paul Crespo, Scott Fox, and John Nieporte for opening their outstanding facilities to support our wounded veterans. The hospitality was exceptional.

Instruction throughout the week was world-class. Led by PGA Professionals Russ Holden and Bob Ford, the team also included University of Tennessee standout Kayla Holden and former PGA Professional Kirk Grant. Board members Bill Conwell and Walter Wasnieski added their support – yes, chipping in with a little pun intended. The result was a week full of learning, both on the course and in life.

The speaker lineup set the tone for what this program would become. Golf legend and 9-time major champion Gary Player headlined the week, and his presence alone was extraordinary. World Golf Hall of Famer Dennis Walters once again inspired with his incredible performance and message of overcoming adversity. Dan Boever brought his unique blend of humor and skill, leaving everyone both laughing and amazed.

A truly special moment came with the presence of President Donald Trump, who graciously opened his club and spent nearly an hour with our veterans – thanking them personally for their service. It was a powerful and unforgettable experience for all involved.

We laughed. We learned. We shared meals. We created memories. Most importantly, these men and women spent meaningful time with their battle buddies – and that, more than anything, defined the week.

It was in these moments that we realized something important: this mattered. This needed to continue.

Our relationship with The Warrior’s Journey was solidified during this inaugural mission. Founder Kevin Weaver spent the entire week with us, sharing the heart behind the organization and the critical role it plays in the lives of veterans navigating life after service. It captured the essence of Inspiring Warriors Golf – not just for this event, but for every mission that would follow.
